The Cusquenian and the Peruvian in general, is a festive town par excellent that has converted the religious celebrations into popular festivities where ceremonies are very important and the cults such as: dances, meals and beverages. For example there is come typical food that is prepared just for special festivities and it happens also in dances.
The most important festivity is the Holy Week, with its processions in the holy Monday and in the holy Friday.
To these parties we have to add two festivities that are done in places far away form Cusco, La virgen del Carmen in Paucarttambo and Qoylloritti, near of the town of Ocongate.
